We are located in Catalunya, an autonomic community of Spain , in the north-east of the Iberian Peninsula .
In Catalunya we can find lots of micro climes inside a small territory. One of them is the dry clime of Lleida. In this clime we can find vegetation adapted to this type of weather, because they have to resist very cold winters and very hot summers (bushes, pines...)
For this reason, we find types of animals that they have adapted to the climatic difficulties, like the storks, that many years ago act as a migratory animal but nowadays they stay at Lleida in winter.
People in this area have adapted themselves to the bad weather too, eating from the food that is more rentable when seasons change (melons, watermelons in summer, chestnuts in autumn, oranges in winter and strawberries in spring). In conclusion, all the animals and plants have adapted and evolved themselves for different climes and terrains where they live, searching different systems to live.
