Hergé
Today, we are going to write about one of the most important comic artists from the 20th century.
His name is Georges Prosper Remi, but his pen name is Hergé. He was born on 22th May 1907 in Brussels and he died on 3rd March 1983.
He is the comic artist of “The Adventures of Tintin”, “Joe, Zette and Jocko” and “Quick & Flupke”. But his most famous creation is the Adventures of Tintin.
In 1929, Hergé developed a character named Tintin as a Belgian reporter boy who could travel around the world with his fox terrier, Snowy "Milou" in the original French, in the French magazine named “Le Petit Vingtième”.
His first comic was “Tintin in the Land of the Soviets”.
