GRAFFITIS ARE VANDALISM?

There are a lot of people in favor of graffiti, who think that it is art, and people against, who think that it is a form of vandalism.

To begin with,  people say that graffiti shows the ugly part of cities that sometimes are in the undergrounds or in places that haven’t got light and normally are bad graffitis and with insults and offensive words. In addition to this they find graffiti colorful, humorous and vibrant. On the other hand, most directors of galleries think that some graffiti art is better than some public art, because in my opinion society is changing, and little by little there are more people that think that graffiti is art and not vandalism but the people who have “power” and the old people think that this are vandalism, and if we compare this percentage the citizens with power win, but they aren’t a majority.

Finally, in my opinion, it’s very nice to have a lot of graffiti in a city, for example my city Lleida has graffiti with offensive messages but we have more graffitis to show the people art , as a decoration. I don't agree with people who think that it’s a form of vandalism, for me it is a form of expression like music or books.
