The Theatre LJ
In Lleida there is a very important school of theatre, it’s called L’Aula de Teatre de l’Escorxador.
It is located in a modernist building, a former municipal slaughterhouse,
refurbished by Lleida City Council and aimed at Performing Arts from October 98. The building houses the facilities of the nursery "The Clock". Association of Residents of the neighbor hood Slaughter house-Templars, Classroom Municipal Theatre, the Theatre and the Cafe
Teatre Municipal” Abattoir has 2 rooms for the display of stage productions. It highlights the mural in the lobby "Altarpiece of the slaughterhouse," work the artist Frederic Amat.

Room 1: the Italian theater with 310 seats.
Room 2: experimental and multidisciplinary area.
Cafe Theatre: space for small concerts format and other cultural activities.
Area 3: located in the former convent of Santa Teresa. Theatre in Italian with 185 seats.
