Facebook is a new social net in Internet. It is one of the most viewed webpages in the world. There are a lot of social nets in the web, but Facebook is one of the newest.

Facebook is a site where you can know people of all the world, meet ancient friends, play different games, hang and see photos and vidios, become part of a group, chat with your friends and a lot of other activities.

You can see everything your friends have hung and you can comment all these things.

Finally if you want to become a member of Facebook you must do this:

• Set a passaword
• And active your account in hotmail

Ice-skating in Lleida.

In Lleida the are a new place to have funny with your friends, is a track of snow or sky also there are karts and ice-skating,this things are situate in "El turo de Gardeny" near of the dico "exes".

It is a new project of some bussines men because some people of Lleida never have time or material or money to go to practise sky or snow,and it is an easy track to learn this sport.This project cost 50.000 euros but is a good idea.

For the moment is only open the ice-skating and in my opinion is a little expensive, during the week cost 5 euros but in the weekend it cost 10 euros.

HAITÍ

The day 12th of Juanary 2010 a big disaster happened in Haití. That event started with a 7.1 Ritcher's scale earthquake. The earthquake has done big damages to Haití and their citizens. A lot of people died this day and almost all the houses are destroyed now. The people that survived lost family, friends, work partners and enemies too, they are still fighting to survive and to improve their life conditions.

Pople over the world is very worried and know about that. So, the governaments and the NGOs are organizing programs and campaings to raise money and help then. Either you can go to Haití and help the people or you can send money.

MICHAEL JACKSON

In June, the King of the Pop died in his home after an overdose of medicines. People and the press say that his doctor prescribed a medicine that calm him down and he have him much more medicine that he needed.
But this medicine is dangerous because you can only take a determinated dose.

All happened when Michael was in his home and he was nervous. He took a dose of his tranquilizer but he needed much more. He called to his doctor but he said that couldn't take more. But finally, the doctor gave him the medicine.


The next day, Michael appeared dead in his home.
Before his death, he was preparing a new CD. It was a compilation CD of his hits since 1990. Some of his exits are: Thriller, Beat It, Black or White, You're not alone...
When he was a child he had a lot of problems because his father took drugs. He had a grup of music with his brothers and sisters: The Jackson's Five.

THE ECONOMIC CRISIS

The economic crisis is a problem that is suffering old the world .
Unemplayment in spain is increaming because businesses are closing and the people haven't got economic profits and they don't pay the mortage and the bank takes their houses and they have to hire a house but the preoses are very expensive and the people don't pay the hire.

The people don't have money to buy food to eat and people d0n't arrive at the end of the month becouse they have to buy food , buy clothes , pay the school for the children , the hire and they have to pay all the bills for example the electric ity bill, the water bill...

So people buy things that It's not necessary but they buy becouse people don't say that they haven't got money.

To pass a resit.

The students of the school Maristes Montserrat prepare the resit exams.

These exams consist on a review of all exams of the first term.
There are different exams, one each subject: history, maths, science, Catalan, English, Spanish, etc.
The final test are done in "Aula Magna".
Also there are resit exams of at the end of the second term and other exam for the end of the school year.

But, if you don't pass the resit exams, you keep the subject for the next year.

English Classes

The English classes from Maristes Montserrat Lleida are very funny and interesting, old the people get good marks because the teacher teaches very well.

During the week we do three classes, one on Monday when we usually do explanations and funny games.
On Tuesday we correct the activities from the dossier and workbook.
And finally, on Thursday, we go to the corners that there we do eight amazing corners:

• Writing -> that consist on writing a new.
• Blog-writing -> when we write this new in a blog
• Audio-reading -> when we read a book
• TV -> when we watch a serie and do activities for that
• Speaking -> when we talk about some theme with the teacher
• Games -> when we play with a spectacular game
• Net -> when we do some exercises from internet
• Listening -> when we listen to a song and complete the blanks.

We want underline the wonderful work that our teacher does.

The world of the exams.

Some students start to prepare the exam the last day before it.
This is a bad habit, because you need to study everyday. If you don't study everyday, when the day of the exam arrives you don't have enough time to pass it.

What can I do to prepare an exam?
To prepare an exam, at first you need to pay attention in class and listen to the teacher and the more important thing it's that you have to take notes. Secondly, after the school, when you arrive at home you should do all the homeworks and when you finish, you should study a little.
Finally, when the exame arrives you only need to chek it.

Facebook

Nowadays, facebook is a very usual tool for convate the boremoon. It's a webpage you can connect with your friends, play games, make tests...
In facebook you can go to pages of people it devating a concret tem. In your own page, you can hang photos, and your friends can see theire photos and commented them.
You can hang videos too. You can search people that you have meet and agreagate them to your friends

Christmas holiday

This year, christmas holiday starts the
23th of December. Before starting the holidays at the school we are going to do a festival , to collect food for the poor people. In this festival all the people of 4tb ESo can participate. The students who want to watch the festival have to bring a Kilogram of some type of food and they receive a ticket for assisting to the festival.
Christmas holidays finished the 7th of January and we have to start school on Friday 8th of January.
During these holidays we can do a lot of things: end projects, stay with the family, go out with friends etc..

Sevilla - Barça

The last 10 of January of 2010 in the Sanchez Pijuan stadium of Sevilla, two teams played the second round of the King cup. Sevilla coached by Manolo Jiménez won the first match of the round in the Camp Nou. Sevilla won 1-2 with goals of Diego Capel and Negredo from Sevilla and Zlatan from Barcelona. It happened the last wednesday.

Yesterday, Barcelona was forced to win if they wanted pass to the third round. They needed two goals if Sevilla didn't do a goal because the goals that a team do "out of house" cost the double.

The first part finished 0-0 with a goal for Jesus Navas canceled because the refree said outside. The second part was dominated by F.C. Barcelona they put a goal (Xavi Hernandez). In this second part, refree caneled another goal from Sexilla.

FCB had a lot of ocasions but in the end they don't passed!

Healthy food

There are a lot of problems related with teenager's feeding.

Most of them eat badly. Some teenagers eat more than they have to eat, other teenagers (more girls than boys) don't eat enough.

Obese teenagers replace vegetables as beans, potatoes, peas; pulses, all types of meat, fish , friut like apples, bananas, pineapples, watermelon, pears...Instead, they usually eat frankfurts, hamburgers, chips, fried food, sauces like ketchup; sausages...

This is not advisable because then, they can have serious illnesses.

In Europe,there are a lot of teenagers with this problem but in America there are more healthy problems than in Spain.

The marathon of TV3

The marathon of TV3 is a solidary event organized by Catalonia Television. Its objective is to obtain economic resources for some scientific investigations of diseases that still don't have any cure. The marathon does a lot of activities in order to raise money and it has too many telephone lines so that, people can call and give money.

The marathon began in 1992 and it has raised money for several diseases, for instance: severe mental diseases, cardiovascular diseases, chronic pain, alzheimer and other diseases of the brain, etc.

This year, this solidary organitzation was celebrated on 13th Desember and it was based on minority diseases.

From my point of view, the marathon is an organitzation that does a very good action and it can help many people who needs it.

4th ESO B

CHRISTMAS

We are on the 16th of December and the school will finish on the 23rd of December. We are very happy because it only lasts four days of class and one weekend. On Monday 21st, we will celebrate a show for all students of ESO to help for the campaing of "el quilo". This show is organized by the people of 4th ESO.


The weather of Christmas time is very cold and in this time, it can snow to some places, for example in Andorra. The better thing of Christmas are the presents and the dinners with the family.
The worst thing in the Christmas are the homeworks of the school, but we have some time to relax and sleep.
We are going to have a nice time!
