It is the capital of Sa


Lleida has got one beautiful monument, this monument is so different, it’s a castle, but it’s structure is special, it’s name is “Seu Vella” and it has a lot of stairs.


Lleida has got a other monument like the castle of Gardeny, the museum, the public library, the archive, the public park of Mitjana, the Camps Elisis, Segre river.


One of the typical parties of Lleida is the “Festa Major” it consists in one big party that it celebrate in two times of the year, one in May and the other in September. The funfair comes for the children, also celebrate the “Aplec del caragol” and it constist in eat a lot of snails and barbecued meat.

Introduction:

A mobile phone or cell phone is an electronic device used to make mobile telephone calls across a wide geographic area, served by many public cells, allowing the user to be mobile.

               

                

How it works?

To make the first communication with the mobile phone when it is switched on, you have to use the keyboard. The mobile phone has a lot of applications and software. Normally, the mobile phone is used to call or send SMS text messaging but it has other applications to entertain, listen to music, make photos and videos, and it can be used to record a lot of things.

How signals are transmitted?

When the user talks, the microphone changes the voice into waves, these are transmitted by the air to a BSC station. The entire world is divided into cells that have a BSC station in all the cells. It is used to receive the waves and send it to a BSC (Base Station Controller) that redirect the waves to another BSC station where the other user is situated. Two consecutive cells cannot use the same range of frequencies to avoid interferences. The same frequencies can be used in cells that are far enough away since they won’t disturb the other communications.

Steve Jobs was born in San Francisco in 24 of February 1955.He had lot of occupations for example: co-founder, chairman, apple Inc, co-founder and CEO, pixar, NewT Inc.

Her wife is Laurene Powell and she have 4 children (Lisa, Reed, Erin andEve).Steve has one sister (Mona Simpson).

Apple will work to create a new mobile phone, Iphone 5.We want to see the best mobile ever seen in the world.

Toronto Raptors

Toronto Raptors is a Canadian basketball team that plays in the NBA league of eastern coast of United States.

This team was found in 30^th of September on 1993 in Toronto, Canada. The first steeps of the Raptors were acceptable, winning the first matches and playing the “playoffs”, but this situation changes a lot. After winning the division title and arriving to the semifinal of the “playoffs” the team started to go down on the classification of the eastern coast. Today they’re in the last positions of the league qualifying.

If we talk about the players, the most representing ones are José Calderón (the base of the team) DeMar DeRozan (the escort of the Raptors) and James Johnson (the pivot). Finally, we have to mention the name of the stadium: the Air Canada Centre. 

This league is lost, but maybe next year Toronto Raptors will improve their results.`

The teacher who lives under the bridge

Neil is an English teacher, he is also a tramp. He is from Manchester but he emigrated 10 years ago because he hadn’t anything to live on, only one slice of bread for a day. He wanted a better life in Spain. He started to walk when he was 29. He arrived to Paris nine months later and he entered mafia and he started to sell miniatures of the Eiffel Tower.

He was too enslaved and Neil decided to restart his travel. After two years since he tried to find a better life, Neil arrived to Lleida. Neil found a job in Maristes School, he was very happy but he didn’t know that he will start the worst of his nightmare.

 In our school we stole him all of his few belongings. He had to live under the old bridge with only some cardboard. He met a frog, he learned to haunt flies. He went away from the school and he spent the rest of his live eating flies and jumping waiting the kiss of a princess.

CATALUNYA’S MICRO CLIMES:

We are located in Catalunya, an autonomic community of Spain, in the north-east of the Iberian Peninsula.

In Catalunya we can find lots of micro climes inside a small territory. One of them is the dry clime of Lleida. In this clime we can find vegetation adapted to this type of weather, because they have to resist very cold winters and very hot summers (bushes, pines...)

For this reason, we find types of animals that they have adapted to the climatic difficulties, like the storks, that many years ago act as a migratory animal but nowadays they stay at Lleida in winter.  

                                                                                                     People in this area have adapted themselves to the bad weather too, eating from the food that is more rentable when seasons change (melons, watermelons in summer, chestnuts in autumn, oranges in winter and strawberries in spring).In conclusion, all the animals and plants have adapted and evolved themselves for different climes and terrains where they live, searching different systems to live.

The match of the year.

Today at 21:05 in the city of Manchester, the players of Athletic club of Bilbao will play one match versus one of the best teams of the world Manchester United.

The Athletic Hooligan fans in Old Wellington's pub.

The people of Bilbao see this match as an opportunity to find a place among the principal clubs of European football. The two teams are in a good moment in a season, and the score is impossible to predict.
Last Sunday Athletic played versus Real Sociedad and wins 2-0 with two goals of Markel Susaeta, the Basque player and Manchester wins in White Hart Lane 1-3 with a beautiful goal of Ashley Young from outside the area.
Today Athletic Club will play with their second equipation the green and white shirt because they play in Old Trafford, and for don't confuse the shirts, the visitant team play with another equipation. Manchester United will play with their normal red shirt.

Conservatory of Lleida:

The conservatory of Lleida is probably the best place of the world to do music classes.

In it we can find a lot of variety of music classes like musical language, your favorite instrument and combined classes with your friends in the orchestra, the big band of groups of 2, 3 or 4 people in chamber sets.

The price to enter there is only your knowledge, but you do an exam and when you pass it, you only pay little money to do your course.

In the place you can find two people who are two boys who are the best musicians of Lleida, and these people are:

The best violinist of the symphonic orchestra of Lleida. He plays the violin since 9 years and a half.

He plays the electric bass IN THE CONSERVATORY, not at home like Lluís Surroca.

He can play the piano, he plays harmonica and drums but he has a perfect sense of rhythm.

The most unsafe is the airport of Japan, followed of the Gibraltar . The aeroplane is very important in the world because is very safe , very fast ( 1000 km/h) and it has a huge capacity to transport products also passengers. The aeroplane lines more important in Spain are: 1. Vueling, 2 Ryanair and Iberia.. In the terrorist attempt in the twin towers the terrorist used an Aeroplane, one aeroplane called aero 11 and other called aero 175. Other aeroplane called aero 77. All this aeroplanes are from the airline American Airlines. There are also one other aeroplane, called aero 93, from the airline United Airlines. Two of all (11 and 175) impact frontly to the towers, and caused 3017 deaths and more of 6000 injured

The Sports

Hello! We are Kevin and Laura, and we talk about sports. Football is the most popular sport, because is the most practiced. There are eleven players in each team. In the match there are totally twenty two players, and normally there are four referees: two linesman, one referee, and one controller. In Spain there are two important teams,: Real Madrid and  FCB.

Another important sport is tennis. There are two players, one  umpire,two linesman, one ball girl and one ball boy.

And the last one important sport is basketball. There are five players in each team, so there are ten players on the pitch. There are two referees. And it consists to put the ball in the basket and make a point. Each basket counts two points, but the free throw counts one point and the line 6/25 counts three points .

These are the sports that we prefer.

Golf

The golf is a sport that is practised in all the world. In the golf the goal is to put a small ball in a small hole, that is in the ground, in the minimum posible hits. The ball is hitted with a stick. In a golf field there are many obstacles to make you difficult to putt the ball into the hole, for example a bunker, that is a bank of sand or a lake or a forest. In a match of golf many players can play. The major part of the players are people with money. A great spanish player was Severanio Ballesteros, he won many international tournamentes and prizes. He was very good player but he died a cause of a cerebral tumor. An other great player is Tiger Woods, he won many tournamentes too. A variety of golf is the minigolf, minigolf is easier to play because the fields are smaller and the ball can't go far if you do a bad hit.

The monster of Mitjana has attacked again! He or she has attacked an 8 year old girl. The police have observed that the monster only attacks easy and young victims. They are preparing a trap with a dwarf person. They think that the monster will think that it’s a kid and, when the monster attacks the dwarf. The police will be near and they will trap it. They don’t want to kill the monster because it’s the only one in the world. The major of the city is planning to catch the monster and use it to attract tourists.

The monster of Mitjana

People says that, somewhere around in Mitjana (Lleida), there lives a strange and dangerous creature.

The other day, I heard someone saying that a kid disappeared in Mitjana when he was with his class in a picnic. When the others remembered the kid, they searched it but they only found one shoe. How do they know that the shoe was of that kid? Easy, because he was the only one kid in the town who wears the Bikkembergs shoes.

That kid stills missing. His family and his friends are very worried about it and they are searching him without resting for 5 days. They hope to know something about it soon.
